3 Months Alcohol-Free - My Discoveries Revealed

I’ve just been 3 months without alcohol.

I did this as a personal challenge to see how I would feel without it.

During my 3 months, there were times I really wanted a beer.

Especially on Friday or Saturday night when I would normally have one.

I don’t drink much, however, I still craved it at the start.

Funny thing is, after 3 months without it, my desire to drink reduced a lot.

Benefits of not drinking alcohol
it's not easy going without it, but it has its rewards!

Although I have to make a confession - it’s not truly 3 months.

Within that time, I had 1 beer and 1 red wine. And that one Asahi beer was bloody good!

Benefits without alcohol

· More productive

· Enjoy Saturday and Sunday mornings more!

· More energy

· Clearer mind

· Overall well-being better

· Enjoy beer / wine a lot more when I have it!

The main thing I noticed was my flow of productivity was a lot better.

Usually, the day after drinking I would be slower, not as present, and lose focus.

I also realised drinking was my Habit that I did on Friday and Saturday night.

Downsides of not drinking alcohol

· Sometimes I felt a lot of stress, and having a drink at that moment would have helped to take the edge off.

· Socially it can be hard when everyone else is drinking.

Conclusion

Drinking is okay.

I think having a beer or wine is actually good.

And it is needed sometimes.

It can be a lot of fun having a drink together with friends.

It can be healing being together with others and so the next day can feel good.

However, there are many benefits of not drinking.

Being able to wake up and see the world with clear eyes opens my life to a new path.
